Qualification Requirements

Open to PADI Open Water Divers who have at least 10 logged dives and are at least 15 years old.

Equipment Familiarization

Your PADI® Tec 40 Instructor will introduce you to the technical diving equipment and its usage.

Confined Water Dive

Adjust the dive gear, explore underwater, and experience how the Tec diving equipment operates in a controlled environment.

Progression to Tec Diving

If you complete the required skills, your Discover Tec experience may count towards the Tec Basics or Tec 40 course. Discuss this option with your Scubaholics instructor if you're interested.

Personal Gear

Bring your dive mask, scuba fins, and exposure suit.

Technical Gear Provided

Scubaholics will provide the technical diving equipment, including dual tanks, primary and backup regulators, and a technical diving BCD (wing BCD) suitable for back mount or sidemount diving.
