Dive Under Supervision

As a PADI Scuba Diver, you'll be qualified to dive up to a maximum depth of 12 meters/40 feet under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional.

Access to Scuba Services

Obtain air fills, rent or purchase scuba equipment, and participate in diving activities, all while being properly supervised.

Pathway to Certification

This course is an intermediate step towards earning your PADI Open Water Diver certification, with the option to take specific specialty diver courses.

Age and Skills Requirements

Open to anyone aged 10 or older as long as they have adequate swimming skills and are in good physical health. No prior scuba diving experience is required.

Knowledge Development

Engage in eLearning or classroom sessions to understand the basic principles of scuba diving, covering the first three sections of the Open Water Diver course.

Confined Water Dives

Learn basic scuba skills in a safe, controlled environment – the first three of five Open Water Diver course dives.

Open Water Dives

Apply your skills in open water over two dives, part of the four dives of the Open Water Diver course.

All Gear Provided

Learn to use basic scuba gear, including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device, and a tank. Equipment varies depending on water conditions.

Personalized Advice

Our PADI Instructors will guide you on the necessary equipment and may suggest additional materials, like the required logbook.

Flexible Learning

Register for Open Water Diver eLearning to start your course anytime, anywhere. Other study options, like the Open Water Diver Manual and Video, are also available.

Personalized Instruction

Once enrolled, your PADI Instructor will schedule sessions for knowledge review, confined water, and open water dives.
