Julian hails from Sheffield in the UK. Learning to dive in 1984 through the British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC) makes him the Grand-Old-Man of the shop. In 1997, after long sabbatical from diving, he completed his PADI Open Water course. Diving on and off over the next several years, Julian completed several courses before making the plunge into the role of Divemaster in locals such as Ibiza and Egypt. He started guiding in Subic Bay in 2011 and continued for several years before completing his IDC in 2018. Julian now works for Scubaholics, imparting his years of diving knowledge to both new and experienced students.
